The wonderful machine has been working hard this weekend. This bread is an old favourite that my mum used to make. It looks quite impressive but is really quite easy to make. I think I am starting to get a feel for how long it needs to knead the bread now to get the results that I want, but more experimentation will follow.

Do I need to say that it tasted pretty good? We had to put most of the bread in the freezer to stop ourselves eating it all the first day!
