Day 289 Day 15

Still not a lot done - the weather was wet and gloomy.  Cooked my beetroot and Tesco delivery.  Cooked lunch and looked for a blip.  Found my mum's old jewellery box and found the Victoria penny - 1896 - having read that we will soon be a cashless society  - what are they going to do with all the coins and notes we have - and will the Royal Mint go out of business.  Will it just make collectors items -  I bought two  "the Snowman" 50p uncirculated coins to give one each to the granddaughters when we see them again.  Was wondering when Queen Victoria died - knew it was 1901  and had a feeling it was January  - it was 22nd January
