Foggy Day
No sign of storm Cristoph yet. Headed for the shore, from the top of the hill I could see the Forth River was encased in a bank of fog 300ft deep (how do I know it was 300ft? In the poor quality extra the stack at Longannet power station can be seen poking out the fog - which was half way up the chimney, which is 600ft high.)
Along the shore there were strange clear pockets. Not a ripple on the river and apart from the ship fog horns it was silent.
