Sad

All the news today is sad. Yesterday was an absolutely awful day. My brothers father in law passed away. He had been in hospital for a week having had a stroke. So hard for my sister in law whose mum died not long before Christmas.
A former colleague and Facebook friend lost her dad. He had a brain cancer and its been so hard for her coping with his illness through covid times. And then today we got the news that one of our dearest friends died in hospital yesterday afternoon. I'm going to miss him so much. The only consolation is that he no longer has to suffer.
I'm reeling but grateful to have my family. One day I might even have a hug from the kids and the grandkids
