Exhausted Yet Ecstatic

Just in from the vets ..What a day. Rain turned into a raging blizzard and I was out in it .Never seen the like in Manchester .
Then It was time to take Pidge to the vet who says the fracture is  healing and so has reverted to the original form of splint ..There was a lady in the waiting room with several lovely song birds ( all from Thailand)  She got them from someone who had tired of them.So what is indigenous ? Pretty and cute can get classified.Despised and loathed never-- how shallow are those who make the decisions .Enough though I've a lovely bird in my care which , if all continues as it is ,will fly free in two weeks.Caring for Pidge has been exhausting but an amazing learning experience... Still two weeks to go however :) Fingers crossed and lots of work-plus another appointment next week .
