Our Exciting September Holiday - Not

Way way back in June, we thought we'd be OK to book a Greek Island holiday for next September., surely all the Covid thing would have settled down. So we did. This is what we booked
Yesterday we received an email from the company saying that the accommodation is no longer available. Alternatives were few and involved another £800 or so.
So, today, bearing in mind how iffy everything still is re the virus, we decided to cancel altogether
So, no, we're not going to sunny Greece.
Never mind, I can sit and watch the rain now knowing it's all sorted
