Wet!

Nothing but heavy rain for 24 hours plus! Very dispiriting.

There are 20 flood warnings in our region but over 80 country wide.

This is our own bit of flooding in the front garden. The bed was originally made for our first cat and we’ve noticed in the last few years when we get extreme rain that it fills up. You might just spot a snowdrop on there. It being a bit warmer we have a few now flowering.

This shot was taken through the window with most of the rain coming to the back of the house the window is free of rain drops.

At the back a window shot is much more difficult. The bed under the Magnolia is obscured by raindrops on the window -extra - but you may be able to make out purple patches as there are now lots of early crocus in flower.

This may turn to snow overnight we’re told before it moves off. I hope those flood hotspots hold out.
