Yet another food photo for today’s blip. When it’s dark and rainy and cold there’s not much else that takes my eye.

We both had a day off today - it’s the anniversary of Martin passing away, so when we booked our time off we had plans to spend it with the family. Unfortunately lockdown put an end to that idea, but it was nice to spend the whole day with Matt for the first time in a couple of weeks.

Braved the rain first thing for a walk to Asda, then home for lunch. I baked these toffee pecan cookies - I somehow accidentally turned the oven temp up so some of them caught a little bit, but still delicious with a cuppa. We then spent the afternoon watching movies and snacking.
