Lunchtime Treat

Despite the gloomy weather, we dragged ourselves out of bed for a pre-breakfast run, finishing just before the rain set in.

I spent the morning filling in a few cracks and holes in the wall from yesterday’s blip while Tess, who fancied a change fro sandwiches for lunch, baked some cheese scones.

Just after lunch, this lovely food parcel was delivered, a very thoughtful surprise treat from Sophie (and Kate, of course!). We won’t be short of variety for lunch the next few days.
