Tradesmen's Entrance

......or for making a sharp exit!

This door is about 20ft up the side of the generally ruined Tonbridge Castle.
It looks like it used to lead directly onto the ramparts.
I don't think many of the Castle's inhabitants would have used it on a day like today. -Absolutely freezing cold with a biting easterly wind.
