Photos at an Exhibition

Glasgow: 1938 Empire Exhibition.
Received this booklet of original 1938 photos today. Spent some time making digital copies.
The fourth of five great exhibitions held in Glasgow. This one was in Bellahouston Park from 3 May to 29 October. The earlier three were in 1888 (Kelvingrove Park), 1901 (Kelvingrove Park) and 1911 (Kelvingrove Park). The last one was in 1988 (Prince's Dock). The only building remaining on site is the Palace of Arts and is now a council sports centre.
