Sheep and fleece

I spent quite a bit of today trying to progress my wool spinning certificate. I needed some fresh air eventually and the rain has only been light and patchy here. Still the cumulative effect is lots of temporary ponds such as these. The sheep seemed happy enough though. To complete the story, a lady in Oregon keeps a flock of the Soay sheep that are the rare breed of the islands, and she has also transcribed and published the sheet music for the haunting melodies.
