Yesterdays Snow

Thank you so much for your birthday wishes yesterday - every single one highly appreciated! Thank you!

Now, a year older, I took another day off from work to get used to the thought of starting a new decade and to get mentally prepared for another round of congratulations and a lot of Sekt (champagne) at work tomorrow... I am the first one of many decadal birthdays at work and in the family this year and every single one will have to be celebrated!

The plan for today the day after yesterday was a meditative walk in the afternoon (after the clean-up in the morning), but that didn't work (the meditative part I mean). Not much left of yesterdays snow - only wind, mud and cold - but I saw the silhouette of the sun several times through the clouds!
