Frost and sunshine

What a beautiful day we have had here on west coast Scotland. After a cold night last night we had bright sunshine until the sun sank behind the hill this afternoon. I walked a different way today and found some beautifully frosted grasses.

It was N's birthday today and he has been a very lucky fellow, receiving cards and presents from friends and family.
