2021-01-18 (Day 018) Union Canal Diversion

After a night of exceptionally rainfall back in August, the northern bank of the Union Canal suffered from a serious landslide.  The water rushed out of the canal, making the problem worse and undermining the nearby Glasgow - Edinburgh rail line.  The busiest railway line in Scotland was closed for just over a month, but work on the canal is still in progress - and if the date for its completion has been published, I haven't seen it yet
