Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

By Carol

2021 Monday — Full Day

This morning we washed both dogs. Mitzi, our Shihtzu, gets dirty much quicker than Chloe. Mitzi’s long fluffy fur just attracts dirt, dust, weeds, and whatever. She is also much closer to the ground than Chloe, whose white fur is more wiry and coarse. Chloe also sheds like crazy. This afternoon we had a 2:15 appointment for Chloe to go to the veterinarian for her monthly injection of Cytopoint. It is a hormone, rather than a drug, that helps decrease her allergies. She also needed several canine vaccine boosters.

After the very quick vet visit, we drove to the shoreline right next to Morro Rock. The waves were huge and quite powerful and I had read somewhere that this was due to a northern storm.

Then we drove to Tidelands Park to walk the pups and I was able to capture some fun photos of people playing In the park and on the water on paddle boards and kayaks. The warm temperatures brought lots of people to the Central Coast on this holiday.

After we left the park, we stopped for an early dinner on the patio at Mi CASA restaurant in Morro Bay. It was a delicious meal and absolutely wonderful to arrive home just before sunset to enjoy the sundown knowing that I didn’t need to then prepare a meal for us. On rare occasions I like cooking.

That was our Monday
on California’s Central Coast.
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi too!
