Getting first Covid shot

Huge day today in every way. Firstly it was the Inauguration, and I cannot begin to tell what hope has seeped back into people. The whole event was quite wonderful.
The day before we managed to get an appointment for our first shots in the Columbia armory, which turned out to be the National Field and track Centre.
We had to rush down to NYC in the early morning, and poor Deb took an hour to find somewhere to park.
In the meanwhile I was being blown away by Lady Gaga.
It took about 2 and a half hours in long queues, to get the vaccine but wonderful people handling it all.
But boy were we beat by the end of the day.
