Stripey Seaside Scenes

A computer-based first part of the morning. Then an unexpected 2nd half where we whizzed off to San An to deliver sweet treats to friends who are attempting to move back to the UK - not an easy task in Covid days. Mountainbrew inspired us sending a fantastic parcel full of all sorts of sweet goodies, so today we've delivered 2 big jars full to different friends. Fun!
No picnic today as someone needed the car, Nate was rather disappointed to have to eat his lunch indoors, at a table, and with no view. What perked him up was our friend shouting up to our window from the street below and having a bit of a natter. 
Late afternoon and the kids were getting irritable, so we drove back to San An to collect some sticklebrick pieces from a friend and give a jar of sweets, and to catch this sunset. 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Having a doorstep chat with Quin this morning. So so good to see him face to face.
2) Reading some stimulating stuff in advance of a discussion group tomorrow.
3) Beauty like this - it just does the soul good.
