The Day is Done

Leaving work felt pretty routine until a surprising flurry of snow began. It was that kind of light dusting that makes everything look clean and nice, right up until I was passing Echo Lake. For some reason that was the point the roads became sheets of ice, and it was slow, white-knuckle driving the rest of the way home. Got out of the car and took a little panoramic shot of appreciation before coming into the house. Fortunately Amy got home safe as well. Going to have both a beer and some tea to maximize the evening relaxation!
