Another hottie today

You could tell early on that today was going to be another hottie. Hot pink sky around dawn is a dead giveaway.
A much more palatable 32C maximum temperature means it's lunch outside on the back deck, with the pergola roof providing the shade. Even got the water misting system connected, in case it warms up a bit.
Couple of rellies-cum-friends dropping over for lunch of Cypriot Salad (with freekah, nuts, grains, chopped fresh parsley and coriander, and pomegranate/yogurt dressing), green salad and plenty of crisp white wine.
Looks like it's going to warm up over the next few days. 37C max. tomorrow, 39C max. the next day (yech!), so no having a run and a swim down the beach for 2 days (plus lunch inside), perhaps a morning swim instead; then relative relief the day after that, with at 33C max.
Supposed to be a cooler La Nina Summer here this year, but seems a pretty average par-for-the-course one so far.
