Whites Hut

The harvesting of Manuka Honey has meant an extensive net work of roads have been developed so trucks can deliver the hives to the furthest parts of the station.  Three of us could drive around in a side by side vehicle and the forester drove a four wheeler motorbike.  We out to this small hut which was built for rabbit shooters to stay in back when there was a rabbit board which managed shooting rabbits.  The extras are sheep who seeing us approaching and all run off in a big mob and then turn to look back..  The Hereford cow and calf where too cute to leave out.
