Wintry sunrise

The clouds seem to hug the mountains on the mainland. Further into Knoydart you can see much more snow, whilst we have none low down here on the sheltered side of Skye - the Cuillins of course will have plenty!  In winter you can drive 5 miles inland and the temperature drops 5-10°C and there is loads of snow, whilst the sea keeps us warmer on the islands - we have cabbage palms in our garden!
