Snow patterns

We went snowshoeing today, up to Kellostapuli (one of the 7 fells) and on to the next fell. This picture was taken on the saddle between the 2 fells. The wind had made fantastic patters in the snow. It was very windy on the tops, but the snow was more consolidated than it often is, so we were only sinking about 6 inches with each step, and it was icy on the tops.
