Roasted red pepper

I need it for the Catalan Ketchup recipe I am photographing this afternoon from Jeannette's book.

Although you can buy them in jars, they are very easy to make. Just put a raw pepper under a hot grill for about 20 minutes, turning frequently. When the skin starts to blister take it out and pop it in a plastic bag. Seal the bag and leave to cool.

When you untie the bag you will find the skin easy to remove.

Store in the fridge.
