Uphill Ride

Today is sunny! So I went for a ride with my husband, who only works Monday to Thursday now. It was uphill all the way, and I'm not as fit as I was after all these months in lockdown. I really didn't appreciate the views as much as usual, and we stuck to the roads to avoid getting near to people. I prefer cycling in the woods.

When we got to the top of one hill, I called a halt. Rather than go on and have to face some uphill on the way back, I took some photos and we turned for home. Downhill all the way home was much more fun!

Then I found the first crocus in the garden. We've had daffs out for a while already but this was the first crocus.
