What, why, how?

Farming activities continue relentlessly through these cold, dark January days.

A quick internet search, and I have now read a few articles and reports about slurry - its storage and management. There's a lot more to it than I imagined.

Once again I wish I could find the book I need. Its title would be something like 'Modern Day Farming: all your questions answered' (with illustrations, of course).
But who would write it? Farmers themselves definitely don't have time.
