Almost Alpine

We went to Sale Fell again. The weather was...sunny; it almost rained; it hailed! The view of the snow on the fells was lovely on the occasions when the sun caught them. Briefly it looked almost Alpine. 
In the morning I renewed my passport. I'm not sure why - I had to hand in my nice red one with some interesting stamps on it and I will be sent a new one which I won't be using any time soon. I know some people can't wait to have a sunny holiday but it's going to be some time before I fancy sitting in a metal tube breathing recycled air! I said as much to some friends only to discover that G. had just booked a holiday and D. felt the same way as me...Ops!
