Spring is close

On our walk through Knocknacree Wood, the neighbouring farmer has got his stock of nitrogen fertiliser ready for  spreading; a good sign that spring is coming soon.  We are is a cold spell at the moment, but it is a beautiful clear sunny day with no signs of spring growth in the woodland.
