Just within range

Once we discovered that Whitehead was just within the permitted travel distance, we were always going to be heading down there. We walked along the shore, round the back of the lighthouse, clambered the steps up the cliff and meandered back the easy way along the ridge and down the slope path.  It took us about 90 minutes and I was pulling off my hat and scarf as we finished.  When we got back the driveway was full of pallets with pavers and stone in preparation for the re-landscaping that begins next week.
