Stating the obvious!
A short clear spell allowed me the first real chance to use my new zoom eyepiece on the Moon. I have a phone-holder which allows me to centre the camera on an eyepiece and keep it firmly in place, I then use a remote release to get shake-free photos. Ah, the new eyepiece is bigger than my old ones so the holder won't let the phone be held at the right distance from it. I'll need to rig up a new system!
In the meantime I had to handhold the phone which is far from ideal. I was quite pleased with this one though, suggesting that I'll be able to get some amazing detail once I can fix the phone in place.
The eyepiece gives an incredibly clear and detailed visual view, much better than my others; just goes to show that you get what you pay for!
