the power of water

another walk at NT Kedleston Hall today, it does mean that by having one local NT property we are getting value from our membership this year.
I quite liked this rather abstract shot of one of the weirs and it seemed appropriate after the rain and flooding of the last couple of days. The local rivers are receding now but fields and roads have been flooded but thankfully no serious damage to property or people has been reported.
In extra is a view back to the big house, it shows quite a contrast in the temperature this morning with the shade holding onto the frost. 
As always it does look a bit better viewed large.
