Cheese n' beans!

Marty had a quiet evening next to me on the sofa, recovering from the anesthetic having been to the local vet today for "that" operation. He's the fourth semi-feral cat we've had done now. At the same time, Graham and I collected Nelson, after more than two weeks of veterinary care he is certainly in a healthier state than he was when we found him locked in the storage depot after the storm.  

Although it was full cloud cover, it was not so bitterly cold today. An enjoyable couple of hours on line teaching late afternoon before an evening with Netflix HIMYM.  Highlight of the evening, possibly the whole week, has to be when Graham arrived, having been to the supermarket for the last run before the Nth consecutive national weekend lockdown, not just with the beers I'd asked him to get for me, but also with the surprise of TWO cans of HEINZ BAKED BEANS and a goodly sized wedge of DANISH BLUE.  I haven't seen either for months and will feast well this weekend.
