Blowin a hoolie on the Kessock Bridge this evening. Had to hang on to the railing to attempt to stay steady, and adjust exposure settings to try to take account of the constant buffeting. Some ominous clouds about, but only a few spots of rain.

The old Peugeot 206 was taken to the scrap metal yard today. A surprisingly simple and rapid process... with all the paperwork present. Took longer finding said paperwork and suitable ID last night. Like its predecessor, it was five years old when I bought it, and I had it for eleven years. Unlike its predecessor, it wasn't used a great deal over those eleven years, covering just less than 30,000 miles. I will have cycled further over that time.  Not planning to replace it, mainly on environmental grounds. That will mean no more kayaking for the foreseeable future, but that has always bothered me, driving to some place to go kayaking, especially if it was a long distance.
