Frost

Took this frosty plumbago seedhead early this morning. Despite the subsequent lovely sunshine it's still looking much the same in the mid afternoon. Such a cold, cold day but really beautiful. Sunshine all day and, with no wind, it felt as if spring might be round the corner.

In other good news I've heard of quite a few people being offered, or actually having had, their first covid jag. This includes my grandson's mum. She is a front line keyworker who can't work from home all the time so it is a big relief that she has had the vaccination.

Wonderful walk round Kings Park this afternoon. Flora has done the walk twice today and as she runs round in circles all the way she is well and truly exercised. I found that a cup of tea on returning home wasn't quite enough on its own and a small amount of chocolate has also been consumed.

Vegetable curry tonight then a family quiz. Like lots of people we started off the first lockdown with enthusiasm for such online fun. We've not done one for months now so it will be a good way to spend a Saturday night in.
