A bit of snow

It's quite unusual for us to have snow but this morning I woke to a light covering of white everywhere- it was more frozen hail than anything else but it did look very pretty and the light was lovely in the garden. I have been on a study day all day today on zoom so I quickly nipped into the garden during the morning break to get a few pictures. I love the blue colour of this dwarf conifer especially when it catches the morning sunlight (Colarado Spruce - Picea pungens Globosa I think!) 
I've been for a last light walk tonight and the snow has almost all gone!
