New Feeder

For Christmas/Birthdays we wanted to set up an extra bird feeding station. One at the sunny side of the house that we could see from the kitchen window.

Well, the stand came, the peanut feeder came but we were waiting a long time for the seed feeder. The firm apologised for delays but we held on knowing this was the one we wanted when they were back in stock.

Last week the firm phoned to say there was still no signs of a delivery and did we want our money back or one of the older style. "Great!" The Man said, "I liked the old ones even better than the ones you now advertise."

The feeder duly arrived and it has taken a few days for our birds to realise there is food at this side of the house. Early this morning we saw our first nuthatch using it, too early for the sunshine but never mind. We also had a bullfinch, the first for the year.
