Birds of a feather?

This morning we were down the wood fairly early to refill our bird feeders. And boy were they needing replenished! The wee things must have been rather peckish.
Another nice bright day but very cold. -4C just before sunrise and topping out at a (not very) toasty 4C. If the weather forecast is correct, it should be much the same tomorrow. Now, where did I put my thermals?
