2021 Friday — The Road

After a brief trip into SLO (San Luis Obispo), the return trip to the coast presented rain and beautiful clouds.

We crest a small hill and round a gentle curve and immediately I am at a favorite spot on California’s geography. I am at the junction of Morro Bay behind me and Cayucos in front of me. The road leads to home . . . our little beach house in Cayucos; a town of bathing suits and cowboy boots.
