Northern Lights

Another warm day so we went snowshoeing up a couple of the local fells. It wasn't so warm on the tops as it was pretty windy. We had a pretty excellent time being the only people up there. So I was all set to blip a nice shot from there when this happened.

Although this year is supposed to be a pretty good year for the northern lights, the guys here at the hotel say it has been pretty quiet. These ones are no where near as bright or spectacular as the ones we saw last year but still really good to see them again
