New walk

It has been a cold old day.. woke to a very frosty morning and had a leisurely breakfast and spent some time trying to work out how to run the village quiz online this year.  We had the honour of winning it last year which means we have to set it this year.  At least by running it online we won't have to feed everyone as well which is the norm!!   (if anyone has any experience of fun (or not such fun) quizzes online I would love some input :)
In the afternoon we went to pick up some fresh milk and eggs from the farm and while on the way home we stopped to walk along a different footpath.  This photo shows what we were greeted by as we broke out of the woodland... perfect.  We strode out across the field dodging fairly large quantities of horse droppings.. Flossie was the worry!!  She behaved and as we pondered how many horses might have left the quantity we saw a herd of several horses heading our way.. they looked like wild horses.. unkept..not groomed,  dirty, not clipped and actually there were 30 of them!!!  They were on a mission and headed off across the field.. sadly not between me and the sunset as that really would have been a picture :) 
Home for a lovely dinner (ordered online and delivered) and The Voice.
Perfect...
