Burns Supper.

Tonight was our Burns night celebration and RF came for dinner, Haggis, Neeps and Tatties with a Clootie dumpling for pudding. I'd never been aware of a Clootie before but it is a steamed fruit pudding the name of which comes from the cloth (Clootie) it's cooked in.

Earlier in the day I'd been to my friends so that he could replace the ancillary belt on my van and the glow plugs. The belt was done successfully but the plugs would not budge and rather than damage them he stopped. I now need a trip to the garage. I then prepared a repair to a fence panel in his garden.

RF and I had a great evening.
