2015-04-24 (Day 114) Muiravonside Garvestones

On the way home today I stopped at Muiravonside Church.

The current church dates from 1804, but it replaces a building on the same site built in 1648. Many of the gravestones date back to the older property, such as the one in the foreground here.

Dotted around the site are a few older stones, as well as some beautifully carved ones (like the stone to the right of the featured one here).
