2015-06-05 (Day 156) Bridge 49

This is bridge 49 over the Union Canal. All of these bridges are numbered, with the numbers getting lower as you get closer to Edinburgh.

Bridge 49 is called the "Causewayend Bridge", and it carries the B825 over the canal. A restaurant opened up just beside the bridge two or three years ago, and seems to do a good job catering to the passing boat trade.

The B825 is one option for my journey to and from work, though I go by the motorway more often - Linilthgow High Street is just too much of a pain to drive along!
