2015-06-07 (Day 158) A View From California Road
Today started with a visit to the ice rink, and after coming home I took Cameron to the golf course.
On the way back, and after having done some shopping, I came home along the back roads, where I spotted this view.
The cows chomp on the grass in the foreground, and the rooftops of Maddiston can be seen through the trees.
Beyond them, on the right (south) side of the picture, we can see Whitecross and Linlithgow. About one third of the way in from the right, on top of the hill, Tower of the Binns catches the sunlight - a structure that is going to be a photo of the day some day.
And then, about 20km distant, the Forth Bridges.
Furthest away, the red cantilever structure of the Forth Rail Bridge. A little closer, with one of its support towers bang in the centre of the frame, the road bridge. And closer still, the new road crossing, currently under construction.
And then, more distant still, is - I think - the Bass Rock, some 28km away from the camera.
But you know what? The cows don't care, just so long as they have something to eat...
