A stick on the ice

I went for a short walk along the canal, parts of which were frozen.There were legions of people, the lockdown seems to bring them all out. It was freezing. I could have made a fortune selling roasted chestnuts! I did at least 23 minutes of housework earlier today and felt virtuous. I think I can relax now and spend the rest of the day watching football on the telly.
