So we got home, put the first load of washing into the washing machine, and after a few minutes it failed. Red lights flashing. Not a good thing.

A phonecall to British Gas elicited a response that an engineer could come out on Friday. Apparently they are under-staffed just now, as everyone is away on their summer holidays. Harrumph.

After work today I took Cameron out for some putting at Kingsfield, Linlithgow, as well as some practice at the driving range. The putting green there is vicious, with lots of really interesting hills to work through.

I came so close to getting a hole-in-one.
