Little Birds

It was flipping mild this morning .... -6C
It too as long to clear the ice from inside the car windscreen as it did to clear all of the outside (probably longer actually).

When I got back from the shop there was a real hullabaloo going on in the garden - it was two Magpies working together trying to catch a blue tit.
They didn't manage - they made the mistake of looking at me when I shouted at them whilst the blue tit just shot off.

I made sure there was food out for the birds in both the front and back gardens.
There was - although you wouldn't believe it by the way the birds were hanging about looking pathetic (10 shots over here).

Despite having cleared an area on the pond yesterday it had frozen over to the depth of 1/2" .... the rest is 2" thick.
