2016-07-16 (Day 198) Poet's View

We are having a wee holiday with my parents, and are spending the week here in Poet's View, Whitby.

The journey here was fine, picking up the keys in Whitby town centre a nightmare. It was impossible to get parked to collect the keys, eventually Jenni had to walk to the shop to get them while we just drove around in circles.

However, we are now settled into the beautiful house set on the clifftop just north of the town centre.

This picture is looking south, past the house towards Whitby itself. You can see the pier and if you really use your imagination, the abbey is just about visible in the distance.

I am sure I shall bring better pictures of both of those features during the week.
