2016-08-30 (Day 243) Iron, Coal and Steel

Coatbridge is a town in Central Scotland which historically built its prosperity on heavy industry. Now this industry is no longer available, but this monument in the town commemorates the workers who made the iron and steel and mined the coal.

I tried to find more information about the statue, but couldn't find anything online. But it is impressive, none the less!
