2016-09-22 (Day 266) Brambles

You know you're getting into autumn when the brambles start ripening like this.

I remember my grandmother and grandfather would travel out to collect them from roadside bushes, take them home and make jam.

I was never terribly keen on jam, but seeing the brambles brought the memory back and made me smile
